About me
My name is Clay Smith. Since a young age, I have always enjoyed learning and teaching what I know to others. I strive to help each student to grow in the way that best suits them.
I graduated from Lipscomb University with a double major in Spanish and Mass Communication. I also hold a Master’s of Education in Instruction and Curriculum.
I have worked as an editor for the newspaper The Weakley County Press, the radio station WCMT, as an English as a Second Language Instructor for the University of Guadalajara in Mexico, and as a high school English teacher at Lake County High School.
Additionally, I have been playing piano, guitar, bass, and banjo for many years. I love to help people learn to play music!
So whether you are trying to get a better score on the ACT, improve your writing skills, learn Spanish, or learn a new instrument, I am here to help!
